I was never a big Pommer fan when he was younger...nice scoring touch, smarts and he never was hurt. But the reason he never missed games is because he was so soft, and I hated seeing him fall to his knees and flail away almost every time he took a faceoff.

Like him much more now coming back as the elder mentor-type. Good pickup along w/ Marco.

It's funny, me and a few buddies thought of this a few weeks ago, what would we give up for Luck if they had the pick and wanted Darnold.

I would give up any combo of 2 1sts and Dareus in a heartbeat for Luck.

Pouliot is low risk - meduim reward.

He can score when given opportunities, and is a decent 5 on 5 player in the top 9.

I want guys like that signed to 1-year deals all the time
