Thank you Carol.
I thought Demko was easily the best player for the Canucks last night. Thought it was going to be over in the first 10 minutes of the first if not for him. |

with the weaker pool of rookies around the league this season (No Laine/Matthews), and if Boeser plays like this all season: I could see him taking a good at the Calder, which would be amazing for this team. |

I was glad they kept Demko in the whole game. Tough to get into a rhythm when you know you're going to get pulled. |

Cull rewards players with more ice time, same goes for Green. I am so glad that Demko got to finish the game, he was excellent. |

I seemed to notice Boeser back in his own end collecting the puck and calming things down often in each game - he's always controlling the play. Hope he's able to do that when the season starts. |

Boeser sure looks like Naslund in his prime. Get the puck, cut to the middle and shoot. I am one of those guys complaining about the parade to the box so far this pre-season but it could benefit guys like Brock who won't have guys trying to break his hand or stick every chance he get's in the slot.
if our team looks like this on October than I will be happy. Even if we end up bottom third in the league.

I like that you didnt include Dorsett, but I don't think Rodin is on the team either. I'd rather see Goldy personally, higher skill set.

I really like the idea of Boeser/Horvat being together all season, both a little heavier, hardworking guys, good on both ends. Could be the start of a real top line. |

Virtanen back checking hard. Nice goal as well. He seems to be focused on playing his way on to the team. |

Since the LA game it's the starting 12 we have been posting with different line combos mind you. The extras are less certain depending on waiver inside knowledge and what they want helping on Comets.
Suffice to say adding standouts BB & JV means vets like DD/Upshall and more bubble Goldy/Rodin/Boucher are all out. |

#Canucks send Cederholm, Stewart and Moynihan to @UticaComets Training Camp and Jakob Stukel to @WHLHitmen. https://www.nhl.com/canuc...season-roster/c-291239516 …
I thought this was the Utica Comets training camp - Makita
nice one. Though Cull is here for a reason. For most it ends tomorrow night against Oil. Curious who remains for 9/28 game against Flames. |

This probably looks accurate, I would like to see some earlier games with JV on Bo's line if he plays well on the 4th to start the year. |

I am not surprised by the edler hutton pp selection. Using only a single D on the PP you had better get someone good on the forecheck and fairly responsible as well as shooting ability. MDZ is known for shooting but coughs up the puck too much. Stetcher has had only 1 nhl season and his size might allow too much potential for forwards pushing past him.
Its kinda like using subban for PP, kid can bury it but you seriously risk a short handed rush the other way if he is alone on D. Only way to use him on pp is put him in more like a 4th forward and have a certified Dman for the D role. |

good policy for sure.
On cull it seems during his games behind the bench he isnt prepared for nhl level play yet. He's only coached OHL and as assistant in AHL. OHL and AHL as a player as well, so no nhl experience at all.
HC of comets should prove to be quite a growing experience for him. Likely take a few seasons |

he's been excellent in several ways.
Lets see how he looks when its full on nhl action however. Personally I think he'll do just fine. Kid looks to be the real deal. Really smart player |

I think the team needs some sandpaper at forward. The great asset with dorsett is he does seem to score clutch goals, not as much as say burrows but still that experience he has goes a long way
JV burmistrov DD for 4th line. Enough skill and some sandpaper to go with |

JV looked good w bo previously...so if boeser looses steam we could see JV/bo again |
