Let's see how Butcher performs, wouldn't want to be in his shoes when 87 & Co undress him night in and night out. He will have Richards in all his holes |

yay! someone that Duchene finally likes playing with. I hope Kerfoot sticks on that line and inflates Dutchys numbers so the return in a trade will be exactly what Sakic wants. I'm just not sure you'd get that at the trade deadline like people keep suggesting. if you're making a playoff run seems foolish to give up a roster Dman for a forward.
anyways, good for Kerfoot and seems like a solid player. I like that he's on that 2nd line cause then I hope the Av's stick Compher - Jost - Greer together. I think thats a nice solid 3rd line with a good mix of familiarity, scoring and butt kicking |

Hilarious how the two NCAA guys who weren't offered contracts to leave earlier snubbed and switched draft teams.
Burnaby Joe had local connect to convince Kerfoot not to sign with Canucks. Said Avs won't bring in vets and give him the chance to earn a spot. That or scraps are on the menu for this season. |

Yup, Butcher wont hold up well to 87, but who does. Colorado is lucky they don't play pitts often. And a line of Yakupov, Kerfoot, and Douchene. Poor Duchene. Land of the missfits. Yakopov can't pass or keep up with douchene, no clue how Kerfoot would work with them. Seems like an all star is getting punished with a couple 3rd liners. |

The chemistry with this line actually seems to be clicking quite well. Yak hasn't helped himself any, but he hasn't had a legit opportunity to play to full potential with someone like Duchene since probably his second year, just guessing, outside of McGod Iv'e never had the slightest of interest in following the Oilers. And 5-8 minutes a game in STL wont give you the biggest chance either.
If he truely is worthy of being even a first round pick... let alone a 1OA now is his last chance to prove it.
Kerfoot has high quality vision and can be a play maker. It should be fun watching this line this season. |

sooooo w the first two lines potentially a lock, how do you feel about Landeskog being a 3rd line guy? do you think that will affect how he is as a captain? do you think he'll feel slighted or less like he's contributing? I think it works out great because you have Landeskog - Jost - Compher as a really solid line that can contribute and be nasty. but dont you need that 3rd line to be a shutdown line? I dont see w Landys concussion issue him really being an aggressive type. to me, a great fit would be Greer instead cause he mixes it up more than Landeskog. or are you in the camp that thinks Dutch is gone before next thursday? |
