I have pointed this out to Tanner and he refuses to understand the limiting factors.

That's why I think it is a good tool but it's not the tool but who and how they use the tool. Any idiot can swing hammer and see nails everywhere, but someone with techne they will see that not everything is a nail and so not swing.

I was happy to see that Hitch lost. How he carries around an ego bigger than his gut amazes me.

A few quick thoughts:
1) Allen was very good. The glove save on Benn was excellent but just as importantly, there was significantly better rebound and puck control, especially after the 1st period.
2) The D activation is very aggressive and paying dividends.
3) Dunn again played a mostly unnoticeable game (a good things for a 3rd pair rookie)
4) Schenn is a real player. He set up two plays that should have been goals in addition to what you see on the score sheet.
5) Thompson made some good plays and some really bad plays. A rookie making mistakes. Of Dunn and Thompson, Yeo said - "...you don't want to paralyze them. You don't want them being afraid of making a play, of trying to make a difference"
6) Tarasenko was better than the score sheet shows. He started the play that led the Gunnarsson's goal
7) Roussell is still Roussell - some guys will never learn.
8) Rumor has Stars' fans refer to Lehtonen as "let them in".
9) Jaskin played a strong game and got pulled off the line for Paajarvi who wasn't doing much other than throwing some mild checks on the forecheck. No idea what was going on there other than maybe trying to get Paajarvi going?
10) Edmundson looking more like playoff Edmundson.

Allen was excellent.

I used my STH rewards and upgraded to the 2nd row, right behind Allen. (Was really surprised that there were glass seats available for upgrades)

That save on Benn was really good. And huge being at the very end of the period to keep them from gaining momentum heading into the intermission.

If I knew I was upgrading, I would have made a sign for Lehtonen. I have always called him "Lettin' em in"

We saw it with Hitch in Philly, and its not just young players anymore.
Dallas should think about what they're doing as they could lose this team much quicker than it took other teams in the past.

Yeo IMO is doing things correctly. Thompson and Dunn are going to make mistakets its how they learn from those mistakes that dictates how the season goes for them.

The giving p goals in the 3rd period trend needs to stop. 6 of 8 goals against in the 3rd period.

That wont translate to winning many games

Paajarvi is back to his old self. Skating around not really engaged and his play has slipped a lot.

Steen and Bo coming back soon will help but who sits?

I hope its bortuzzo his double cross check on nelson yesterday was bush league. Kind of tired of his act already
