they didn't look good in their zone....
and they can't score....too many perimeter shots with low percentage of success.
MB won't have a great season as GM....the pressure is only starting to build up...it's going to get ugly #MTLweak |

I don't see how Habs' D will contain the Leafs' offense... but hey, expect the unexpected. |

maybe. But they don't score more than one goal a game, so 2-1 in OT vs Leafs? |

I agee. MB is probably in his last year. Montreal having a problem not scoring goals is not a new one. He should have traded PK away for three good players instead of a high paid superstar past his prime and slow in todays NHL. The D man they traded to Tampa I think will be a stud. top D men are much harder to obtain.
Anxious for Saturdays game.

i agree they don't look good in their zone but i think the one thing Montreal is doing a good job of, generally, is keeping play out of their zone. i do think eventually, assuming their shooting percentage bumps to at least levels of low mediocrity and they start getting Price some leads to work with, they will start winning games. |

Is it true that the Bell Centre didn't sell out for the home opener?
I didn't watch as i refuse to get the Centre Ice package to watch this slow decent into obscurity. |

The Canadiens continue their search for goals, wins, and respect Saturday at the Bell Centre against the high scoring Toronto Maple Leafs in what's surely going to be Toronto media's most anticipated game in the last 50 years. Hopefully, it's one to remember.
Nice little dig there Brandon.

i think it ended up being a sellout in the end... real or artificial. but i assume that sellout streak will end shortly unless this turns around quickly. there was very little enthusiasm about this team going into the season and i imagine it's only gotten worse. |

I was at the Bell Centre yesterday. Place looked pretty packed.
It was possible there were a few empty seats here and there...I think people are starting to get fed up. Prices are ridiculously high, and we can all agree that as far as entertainment goes, there are some nights it is as exciting as watching paint dry. |

Galchenyuk on the fourth line this morning.
Might as well start looking at the upcoming draft, this year's first round pick should be interesting (if not traded by then) |

I know they dropped the prices on alot of sections in the last two days to sell out.
Molson ex went from 135 to 95$ yesterday. You could still get 4 seats in a row which would have been impossible last few years. |
