Tonight was a huge win by the Sabres. I was screaming at the TV whilst enjoying a cold bevy or two. When Kane tied it up I just knew this one wasn't going to a shootout.

The Sabres played with emotion. And they skated. Good games by most. Bailey continues to impress and appears that he doesn't want to head back to Rochester. Okposo is finally turning it around and ROR seems to finally getting his groove. If they play to their potential and abilities, they could actually sneak back into it. Hopefully they can continue the momentum into the Tuesday game with Detroit. But for tonight, let's enjoy this sweet (and deserved) victory.

Shat..you guys needed that!..nice to come from behind ..their's a (joke) there for sure in that comment! Nice franking goal by O'Reilly , he showed he's a player that can be looked apon to lead this team..he needs to bring that effort ever game! To much talent and he's a guy when playing at his best can be a game changer imho. .Eichels obviously that..but O'Reilly needs to take that lead and let Eichel play his game without the stress or pressure to be the guy. or at least on most night's idk😨 I've said before that Eichel will Finnish or could Finnish in the top 5....top 10 for sure!imo, and O'Reilly needs to help this kid achieve that goal..again imho. with 10? new players a new coach/system they need to stay at 500 til they mesh ..thanksgiving is usely the barometer... good game and hopefully a turning point for this club !😆...and I'm really drunk! if you hadn't noticed by my nonsenical post! cheers best of luck with the rest of the way! "Finnish" was a tip off.

They really need to stop the "poop, there's 10 minutes left? Well, I guess we'd better get to it." poop they've been pulling for the last few years.

They need to figure out the 2nd period. They've been terrible in the 2nd.

What I liked most about ROR last night was that he actually played with some anger and passion. Nobody can ever question his work ethic, but his fire this season has been lacking so far. He was engaged physically - took some hits, made some hits and played with a bit of controlled rage throughout.

Nice write-up per usual Mike. It was great to wake up and feel good about the Sabres for once this season. They aren't perfect by any means, but hopefully this is the spark that turns this around. Like others have said, my sanity need this as well.

The way we played in the 3rd and OT is how I expected us to be playing all year. I will take the win but if Rask was in net the outcome probably would have been different. We have to stop taking off 40 minutes a game! Regardless, I will definitely enjoy this win today!

Bailey is a lot of what was missing in the first 7 games. Plus the way he has succeeded allows Housely to spread the talent out deeper throughout the top 9.

It makes me wonder if bringing up Guhle might have the same impact on the D.
