You started off with a lot of really valid points. And, putting Sheary in there isn't out of the question. However, Sheary's having a decent season and is cost controlled for two more. I don't think Kane pulls Sheary, Cole and a first. The Pens don't need a goalie. Maybe if a D came back the other way it's a possability.

Although, I will say this....it's the best trade that you've put together in a long time. If Kane's locked up then maybe you get that type of return.

Not sure the Pens would trade for Kane due to his 'personality' & off ice poop. He could certainly do some major damage on either Sid or Genos Wings though.

Every team is wants to overpay for Kane lol. Doubtful. Maybe one will. Maybe he's the type of player the Sabres need to hold onto.

The more likely target is Sam Reinhart. Especially if one wants such high price tags in a trade. Ever wonder why some players no matter where they go they just win and they aren't necessarily great players? Then you have players like Kane with tremendous talent and they never win. It's not every team Kane has been on sucked or were suppose to suck. It might be he just isn't that good and entices coaches to over play him.

I really like the idea of adding Kane to the Pens. GMJR has a proven record of taking 'outcasts' and winning cups with them. I just don't know about giving up Sheary, Cole, and a 1st for a rental. Maybe it's Sheary and Cole with a conditional pick on the condition that if Pittsburgh re-signs Kane that it turns into a 2nd rounder
This would still leave Pitt a 1st in case they wanted a 3C still or it would allow Guentzel to play 3C and Sprong could be a potential call up (or Simon)
