Justin Lowe: Flaming Out For Good? The Blackhawks take on the Flames again tomorrow and look for redemption after they blew a 3rd-period lead and lost in OT on Saturday night.

Will the Hawks finally fall out of the playoff picture enough to warrant some more changes or will they get on a crazy run?

This team is done. Bowman's job now is to listen on anyone and see if some team gets aggressive enough to warrant moving a player worth something. Not talking about Wingels or Bouma.

Also, shelf Crawford for the season......no sense pushing him to get back.

See, you say this and they will go on a 5 game tear, then they will lose a bunch and drop out of the wildcard spot on like the last day possible.

My biggest fear.
Miss out on TDL opportunity and mess up our draft position.

I agree with your read Justin, and to build on what you wrote CC being out as long as he has only contributed to their losing ways. People on here expect the impossible or everything to change. Patiently will wait to see where we go from here.

Why 82?

he's been ok at best this year. I wouldn't mind his play as a bottom pairing guy i guess.

Not fully on board with 91 yet, although i do like a lot of what Ive seen. I think Hartman could be a solid depth contributor to the team for a while. He doesn't seem like he's going to be a big time scorer, but if he can hone in and be a really good defensive forward that chips in occasionally, that has value.

No way to CC, one of the best goalies at $6 mil

So instead of developing him you are going to trade the guy who can skate, has skill, and size. No way, otherwise everyone else can go so long as we get some nice deals, not just give them away

Hartman is a 4th liner with average speed

Also does not have value on PK's

82 has shown upside & has a big shot for PP

Move anisimov. Find a way to move Seabrook. All of a sudden the Hawks now have 10-11M in cap relief and who knows what can happen this summer.

Realistically I do not see Kane, Toews, Crawford, or Keith being moved.

CC is going to be 34 next year

Time for the rebuild

The goalies have been fine while facing 40 shots per game

Not that those 2 are the answer (AT ALL) but they have given team a chance to win games

Like to see Mrazek here via trade or offer sheet next year

Would you be willing to pay the price to move Seabrook? If Bickell cost the team Teravainen what do you think it will cost to move Seabrook? I would think we're looking at DeBrincat, Jokiharju, or a 1st if we're a non-playoff team....maybe more.

Agreed

That is why the only way to get out Seabrook deal is 88 or 50

Hopefully the Bowmans are gone at seasons end & we can sart fresh with a real GM

Kane has a NMC, I don't see him waiving to go to the Habs.

If bowman finds a way to move 7's contract without having to throw in massive sweeteners, keep him around. Cause that would be magic.

If you want to blame anyone for deteriorating talent on this team, blame winning every franchise even without a hard salary cap go through this.

Corey still saving over 915%, nah I keep him, so as the defense and forwards get better they will see the success of their labor.

And you have guys with full NMCs.

How long did the Hawks look for a center....15 is not perfect but unless return is very good you keep him.

Would love to move 7 but to throw in another asset is crazy. Fact is I truly believe unless 2/7/19/88 ask to be traded, none will be moved. Not the right thinking but I'd be shocked to see them go.

See what the next few weeks bring, but this team's dead. Can't expect a run when they give away points on a consistent basis.

Cap hit sticks around longer if they buy him out.

Unless there is a compliance buyout along with the new CBA as has been discussed, but theres no guarantee that happens.
