Nelson still has a lot of room for development. Can't complain about signing him, he didn't cost us anything.

beaulieu has taken a big step forward the last two games in that he hasn't had an egregious Mike Weber-type turnover that ended up in their net

I think kane has really toned down his game lately in anticipation of the trade

I can't remember the last time I saw the Sabres as quick to the puck as they were last night, nor do I remember a time where they used there sticks as well as they did defensively. Their backchecking was strong, they blocked 20 Bruins shots last night and played a full 60-minute game against a tough opponent.

Most likely this is just an anomaly. But wouldn’t it be great if Housely finally found the right pairings and unlocked the key to underperforming talent? I think we’re closer than most people give us credit

It is what it is hopefully he comes back with vengeance again but the good thing he will have the summer to recover than trying to rush back Like last time and it took him 11 or so games to get to his style

Use the rest of the season to develop chemistry and confidence among the underperforming core with no pressure or expectation.

Pick the stud in the draft.

Hope the stud is what we think and Go after it hard next year.
