If I recall correctly this last offseason Feds and I were having a surprisingly serious argument over whether Detroit was around the fifth worst team in the NHL (my view) or third worst (his view).

Still got some work to do but if the Wings can limit themselves to about 7 points or less in their last 10 games (very doable) or if, say, Phoenix goes on a nice little run of respectableness, Feds is gonna win that bet.

Agreed! I hope they keep Blashill around for two more years. He's the kind of guy we need to rebuild. He'll give it his all but consistently fail to produce and by doing so will help us earn a top 5 draft pick.
