On February 26, the Sharks traded forward prospect Danny O’Regan and two conditional draft choices to Buffalo in exchange for Kane. The trade compensation for the pending unrestricted free agent raised eyebrows around the NHL because a player of Kane’s pedigree suggested the Sabres should ask for and receive more.

One thing is for sure, while Kane may not have netted the "treasure trove" of assets Garth expected he sure is the result of many treasure troves of spelling errors.

I am so glad Kane didn't go to the Pens, for many reasons. Among them is that Garth would have been a Pens' blogger for the rest of the season. I feel sorry for Sharks fans.

Oh yeah, and it is funny that Garth keeps mentioning Danny O'Regan. The only way he makes the NHL is if Eichel throws another temper tantrum to keep his buddy on the squad.
