So tough to have the tragedy with the Humboldt kids on what should be a party for the Sedins on their last game.

Just an unimaginable tragedy, as someone who rode those buses for a few years as a junior player my heart goes out to them and their families.

On a lighter note, does anyone know if there is ANY chance Tree returns to Van next season? At some point does he become a UFA ?

I heard some talk that he is open to coming back to the NHL, but not until his current KHL contract ends. That's two more years, right?

I think it was a two year contract so it'll end at the end of next season.

I'm with you....rode those buses for four years in junior and midget AAA. There are no words today. Just hoping the families are ok and coping the best they can. Bloody awful.

My heart goes out to all of the people affected by the Humboldt Broncos tragedy.

The game tonight is secondary and it should be, prayers are needed big time for the families of this horrific tradgedy and I am sure hank and danny will make it that way.

Sautners uncle is the president of the humbolt team, he wasn't on the bus.

I haven't heard if his son is alive or not. I've worked up around that area a few times for work. We went to a Humboldt vs Estevan game 5 years ago.

So sad.

Some spruce kings up here in PG are visibly upset and in tears, its just so tragic man.

Amazing how many people have a connection to this bad news whether it's friends, family, business or a spectator of the team. Such a terrible tragedy. A pic of survivors in hospital beds holding hands as the beds were crammed close together so they could support each other really hit me. I cant imagine what they are going through.
