Looking at the unrestricted free agents that are available next year, a few not-out-of-the-realm-of-possibility names jump out. I focused of players in their 20's without huge previous contracts:
Mark Stone
Calvin de Haan
Andreas Athanasiou
- PrinceChill

I want Michael Grabner for third line next year 3.4 a year for 2 years is good for me

Stone is one of the most underrated 2way players in the league

He’d look great on RORs wing!

RORs numbers really didn’t look too bad considering he was on the only team in the NHL not to score 200 goals.

Lehner is living rent free at Brylin

Nelson is going to be the Sabres captain for the next decade, book it

Ror, Okposo, Bogo we need 2 of them gone, thats it.

I wouldn't be surprised if all three were on the roster next season...all have big contracts that will be difficult to move if that's what botts in fact wants to do

he's a consistent 55-60 player...

I don't like how Housley used him this season when it came to having him out there taking faceoffs then coming off the ice if it wasn't his shift

we'll see what they do in the off season, but bottom-10 looks probable at this point...that said, if they show up and play like they're capable of every game, and get some goaltending, they could very well be straddling that area

Fair enough.

I just feel like the Sabres lost so many games again, that they could have won. Lots of points that slipped away.

Trade Ryan O’Reilly you sign Tyler to that deal probably 2 million more
