hes just one hell of a player, but its starting to seem like hes pulling them same stunts now that he did in Colorado at the end of his time there. (its never him, always the other guys around him that are dragging the team down)

MTL and VAN look like potential spots that would want a center depending on what happens in FA and during the draft. GMJB and Housley are all about center depth and Reinhart is now set as a winger. Lots of variables but at this moment I would not think he is back

thx...the biggest problem with the pp was that Housley and co. came in with their own views on how it should be run...

Not as of now but ROR is honest and all of a sudden he's a quitter. Other guys feel the same way and i'm sure it takes a toll on you over the years(s) but he's a quitter. But because he makes 7.5 a year he can't say anything.

If this was a one off, I could overlook it. Seems very similar to his time with the Avs. If he comes in next season kicking ass and taking names were good with this, if not, it's time to go.

Except he kind of confirmed what people were thinking. I hope I am totally wrong on this.

How would you feel losing year after year and the team getting worse every year ? I'm sure it would effect you and you're playing along with attitude. Losing sucks for all the players and it gets old.

I doubt Tavares trades one team that's been horrible his entire career for another that just finished last place.

Your statement about ROR is spot on, love the consistent production hate the leadership. We were sold on his leadership, I may be in the minority and being short sighted ( all possible) I just don't think so.

No. It's the constant "I've got to be better", "it's on me", burp, fart, blah, blah, blah.

I like the guy as a player. A bit slow, but he gets there, gets the job done, statistically speaking.

He's no leader. There's no accountability in that room. Guys have said it. J. Nolan said it. Scott Wilson said it. These guys have won Cups. O'Reilly has won nothing. Maybe there's a reason for that. There certainly was enough talent on those Colorado teams.

Whatever. If they can get the leadership problem fixed, maybe we'll have something here.

You're right on that. I'd want to try something different than in my approach, when teams around me are bad it leads to conflict amongst individuals, we start arguing to push each other or solve problems. Wouldn't mind hearing some dust UPS in practice over effort from the previous game(s).

have to disagree...he averages over 30 goals (never scoring less than 24) and 38 assists per season, and is a helluva leader
