Love watching that Vegas team play. The way they break out and enter the o zone time after time with ease is a pleasure to watch. It's obviously great coaching. After enduring another season of Edmonton's inept breakout it's refreshing. Hoping they keep rolling.

Everyone needs to remember that Tanner knows best. He would have purposefully sold all these Vegas assets for futures and stunk for 3 years (the amount of time he said the fan base would still show support for a failing new franchise) to get high picks and work for a long term plan. Tanner for GM!

Besides the Vegas team what amazes me the most is Sydney Crosby. No matter how you play him he’s still the best player on the ice.
Babcock should show his team video clips of Sid as a lesson on how to ramp it up for the playoffs.

This site won't let me quote you right now but bang on Iggy. Vegas moves the puck up quick, their PP moves the puck between players, get's the shot off, goes for rebound and resets. The whole team has invested into the system.

In my opinion it is the way the rest of the NHL is moving towards and some teams (Edmonton cough cough) should certainly be watching and learning.

This was brought up on HNIC I believe... saying that the GM's would not be on board with a draft similar to the last one. More to do with the way trades with Vegas went down.
I'd agree with you that it won't be the same for Seattle... but disagree that there was a "fix" in.

Bettman said the rules would be the same. Can’t have Seattle paying 600 mill for a team then getting worse rules than Vegas who just paid 500 mill a few years earlier.

If the owners and GM's are against it... they simply wouldn't approve the new team until their needs are met. Simple.
