Nice work as always
Mittelstadt at 8 was good for his career, and Dahlin is even better. If he can move Bogo or Okposo, that would be a successful summer. 1 or 2 smart vet depth signings, and let the kids play. He understands we need to get faster on the wings.
I would love a trade for a scoring winger. |

he addressed what we thought was our biggest needs last summer.. D and minors..
although he addressed them he fell short on the D.. added blow-u, antipin and scandella.. of those only scandella appeared to be an nhl d man.
B- for effort
D for results
but he has another year of evaluation and hopefully will address the new needs.. wingers, defense and goaltending |

The KANE trade C - gerbe75pts
I factor in some of the things he didn't do, which were smart:
Not giving Kane a long term over priced extension (rumors aside)
Not giving Lehner a multi-year deal
Waiting on Reinhart
Not making a big UFA move

so what did ror have to say with dreger? - Michael Pachla
"Everything I said, yeah, I was being honest," O'Reilly said to "Dreger Café" host Darren Dreger. "When I look at it, when I reflect on the year, who else can I look at? I'm one of the guys that plays the most minutes, and it's my fault.
"I want to change. I want to be in Buffalo. I love it there. Obviously, we're getting the first pick, which will be huge, but, gosh, it's a great city and I want to be there and I want to win. Yeah, I was just being honest, and I feel I need to do that more."
He also said he has a good relationship with Botterill. Doesn't seem like a guy who is planning on getting traded |

my only question for him after that would have been, "does all that buffalove include moving to the wing to accommodate mitts at center?" |

My question would have been how would you feel when the Sabres make Jack eichel the captain
I would have loved to see his body motion |

O'Reilly with Dreger, “When I love the game is when I’m competitive and no matter who I’m up against, I’m going to outplay that guy and at times, I lost that and that’s the reason why I wasn’t at my best and doing what I should be for the team and I plan to change it.” — Paul Hamilton (@pham1717) May 11, 2018 |

Jack will be Captain the season and if five years down the road he can't handle it then sure |
