I think today is the day we finally figure out if Schenn's output was replaced

Foudy has been on my prospect radar for a while now. He's not a guy I'd take at 14 or 19, but if he was still on the board at 50 I'd happily draft him. The questions about his hockey sense are legit and he'll need to work on his overall defensive play and play without the puck, but his skating is really off the chart and he has good skills. If he can improve his overall game and get a little stronger, both of which should be doable, he could be a very effective middle six forward.

Personally my favorite part is Schenns production was only allowed to be replaced by Weal, Lindblom and Weise. Two of those players combined didn’t even play a full 82 game season

Hextall has forfeited every season until Schenn is reacquired.

I usually agree w most of what BiggE posts. However, at this point, I’d take a chance on this kid at 19. I don’t see him being there at the Flyers pick in the second round. Since they have two picks in the first, I’d swing for the fences, unless there was a compelling reason not to (ie one of the progected top 8 slips.

I think an nhl team would be foolish not to explore the possibility of adding Hoffman on the cheap. It boils down to he’s with some crazy broad. That’s workable imo

It not so much I don't want to take a chance on him, but that I think there will be better prospects available at 19 than Foudy. Right now, he'd fall into the 30-35 range when it comes to my personal prospect rankings.
