Cheese and rice, Garth, stop with the name-centric titles.
Have some self respect. If you at all consider yourself anything close to a journalist... please, give the stupid name word play a rest.
I'm not even trying to be a Richard, I'm asking respectfully, I would like to read your entries, but it makes me cringe every time. |

And here come the stupid trade scenarios by Garth. Thank you for continuing to prove how clueless you are |

That is getting REALLY old and extremely annoying. Get over it. You losers who keep repeating that should try to come up with some new material. Moving on...
This was actually a good article. Aside from some crazy trade scenarios, most of it made sense. Bottom line is that Botts will not trade O'reilly unless the deal blows him away. For example: Hamilton from Calgary or something like that.
I personally think he's going to trade O'reilly for a dman, then turn around and trade Ristolainen for a forward(s) + picks/prospects. Either way, there WILL be movement, as this team needs a major shakeup; however, I think I that goes without saying.
I'm all for moving O'reilly. I have pretty good inside knowledge that he's a problem in the locker room. He brings a lot of negative energy in there, and it's causing a lot of problems and tension with certain players. |

That was a work of art Garth. Brought that fine internet art form to new hights. Bravo good man. 👏! |

So Sammy and 32 overall get u Hamilton and Bennett? What an utter disgrace of a proposal.
From now in all ur articles need to be proof read by anyone before they are published.
It used to be comical now just sad |

Good article? The guy actually proposed a trade of Reinhart plus #32 for Dougie Hamilton and Sam Bennett. Bennett for Reinhart would be a wash. Two former high picks who have yet to blossom. That makes #32 for Hamilton. Calgary gave up a first (#15) and two seconds last year. Hamilton actually had a pretty good year.
Pure nonsense.
Give you head s shake while you are at it |

IF Reinhart is dealt there will be a whole lot more than what Kane got. Kane’s price was down because of the troubles he’s caused basically with every team he’s on. |

I wonder what people like Bob McKenzie, Pierre Lebrun etc think about Garth? I remember a looooooong time ago LeBrun made fun of Eklund on the radio. |

I am pretty sure Pierre LeBrun and Bob McKenzie have no clue and don't care who Garth is. |

It seems to me that a Reinhart for Bennett trade would hardly Qualify as a wash
Reinhart-249gp, 65goals, 75assist, 29ppg, 48ppp, 11gwg
Bennett-241gp, 42goals,47assist, 8ppg, 15ppp, 3gwg
I think Reinhart has clearly been the better player so far in their careers, I'm not saying he's enough to pull Hamilton out of Calgary using Garth's proposal, But, it certainly was a fair starting point in negotiations. I am sure that your insulting tone for every trade proposal Garth makes would serve you well in your future endeavors as a NHL GM.
I believe that was one Regiers faults as a GM was that he wouldn't return calls on trade offers or he would be insulted at the mention of an offer and that would end the trade discussion.

Whatever. If you think Reinhart’s garbage time points matter. Then, you win. Bennett has played much further down the lineup. Reinhart has had tons of PP. |

So, Am I to understand that during the part of the season where Reinhart had success, The other teams they were playing, who were fighting for playoff positions, laid down and didn't try, therefore letting Reinhart have his success. Maybe there was something going on with Rhino during the first half of the season that no one knows about, Or, maybe being thrown back in at Center, where he hadn't played in 2 years threw off his game and he was thinking too much instead of just reacting and that changed when he went back to wing. It was insulting when Jerry Sullivan said that what Rhino did achieve in the second half didn't matter and it's insulting when you reference it also. It is never a bad time for a player to have the light go on in his head and figure out his role with his team and in the NHL and as far as I know, No team rolls over and lets opposing players have success because it's the time of the season where it doesn't matter. |

You're hardly an insider. It's public knowledge that O'Reilly butted heads with a number of players in the Avs locker room, including Duchene. The Avs obviously moved out the problems .... Buffalo then doubled down and overpaid O'Reilly to stay.
Buffalo won't get the treasure trove of assets they're hoping for to move out a 2x's problem child with a salary that is WAY beyond his production and has played 13 career playoff games in a 9-year career. |
