That's about it for the foreseeable future on the Sabres at left wing. With all that said, this might be a loose roster projection with the season three months away:

Enough is enough with 28 and 22 as NHL regulars. If they have to, waive them and play Bailey and Baptiste.

Between Baptiste and Bailey, O'Regan, Olofsson, Smith and Malone, the competition should be good enough. I have just had it with Larsson, and to a lesser extent, Girgensons

Wouldn't mind Patrick Maroon or a trade for Skinner at this point or even both. Sabres have the means to pull it off but truly depends on the younger guys as well

So who is to blame for Girgensons? Overdrafted and never had a chance? Pigeonholed into a grinder role by Rolston and Byslma? Last thing i'd think of blaming him for is poor work ethic.

He always seemed to step it up when he played on the top line, but I guess everyone is gonna look better with Eichel.

He sucks with Eichel. I mean, he sucks less with Eichel, but he still sucks there. He played over a quarter of a season there, and he amassed 5 even strength goals total.

Maybe he needs a fresh start somewhere else. I'd be happy if they gave it to him. We need depth scoring, and it looks unlikely he can provide that here
