If we can make it happen for the 2020 1st (instead of the 2019),
then i think it’s a no brainer

I think Hughes might have to be part of the deal though- for Cap reasons
And then we’d have to cut Ivory (no big loss)
We’d definitely have to make some kind of moves with roster players to fit Mack in under the Cap for this year
Next year we have plenty of room though

how did the giants do after paying JPP that kind of money
broncos strapped after paying Miller that money



it's not a blueprint to win a super bowl in a cap era


worst part is we have a 3 year window to be able to pay a mack, but beyond 3 years it will be a crippling contract

if this was a contending team like the bills when they traded for biscuit then yes

1) players can be found at these positions
2) we will still have draft picks, and have tons of Cap room after this season
3) i like Murphy behind McCoy, and u can draft good backup RBs late

We desperately need a top pass rusher
Our pass rush specialist (Hughes), has averaged 5 sacks per year over the last 3 seasons
That’s a joke

Our LBs will look a lot better if teams have to worry about double teaming Mack...
and that will also help the other D-linemen
And the secondary will be even more impressive if the D-line is getting consistent pressure on the QB

I’m not saying we HAVE to trade for Mack,
but it would be a great move
And if we don’t trade for him...
I’d say our top pick next year should be a pass rusher

*if we did get Mack without using the 2019 1st, we should be able to get a pretty good WR or LB in that spot
Decent OL can be found in the mid rounds
And we still have Cap $$$ to address depth at certain spots

Bottom Line...
Mack is a DOMINAT player at a position of EXTREME need for us

we’d have swapped out the Darius contract for Mack’s

Even if they play every single game this year, they are still prospects now.

Tom Pelissero reported yesterday the Raiders asking price for Mack was 2 1sts. Evidently Reggie McKenzie doesn't mash the ignore button on my takes.

Homie, set a reminder for yourself in a week. If Mack is traded for 2 1sts you can claim to have told us so.
