Carlo, Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller and Matt Grzelcyk are expected to ba ttle it out for the remaining two spots. Carlo doesn't seem worried about the competition. In fact, he seems to be embracing it.
Carlo is a Lock, I don't think there's much debate there.
He really could learn from playing with Quaider or Miller, He obviously has the skills to be a Legit Top 4 D-man, However it's just not that easy, can't flip a switch and turn into #54, You are either THAT type of player or your NOT, he is NOT, best case is he is Hal Gill in his later stages of his career, dependable, great size, average skater and not afraid to mix it up, Gill didnt scare anyone by dropping his gloves but you don't need to anymore, game has changed so much since then, he just needs to react without hesitation. I think he will probably be a top 4 guy and Krug will drop down.
