BD im going to have to side with the board here. You are one of top if not the top Islanders writer. This Hockeybuzz isles board is one of the busiest and most active boards around. Where has everyone gone? its been so quiet.

I hope things start to pick up. If anyone hasnt seen Lou comments in NY post today from the islanders charity golf outing yesterday at Bethpage they are must read. LOL

“There’s no aftermath. Players come and go,” Lamoriello told The Post at the Islanders golf outing Tuesday at Bethpage State Park. “It’s different if they had won championships. It’s different if they had had a lot of success. They haven’t done much — and I don’t say that with any disrespect. Haven’t been to the playoffs the last couple years. Things haven’t worked out the way everybody would have liked them to, from what my understanding is.

Soon. Not much to write about until camp starts UNLESS you want the fiction that cutting off beards and changing some players numbers equals some sort of culture change.

there is a rookie game tonight.... any idea what the lines look like? who starts in goal? over / under of goals in the game? over / under goals vs fights? how about it cost $20 to get in and that $20 goes to isls charity....something anything BD

umm it was prospects game which didnt include anyone is college either. Big team camp starts today.

Last year i think only guy making hightlight reels was Barzal. I think Tavares had one all season when he made those moves on boards and then passed to bailey in front for the win. Funny with guys like McDavid, Ovie and Crosby you see hightlight reels almost every few nights.

thoughts on prospect game - Ho Sang and Bellows did not stand out as much i was hoping them to. Dobson needs a few years too.
