This could be the most open season for winning the Cup there's been for a while.
There's some seriously good mixture of teams with experianced talent & teams with young guns. If the old guys get it together - Sharks, Ducks, King's, Pens, Caps or the young guns - Leafs, Flyers, Avs (yes I said the Avs), then a mixture of both - Preds, Jets, Blues, Tampa (never win with Cooper as coach), Bruins. Then throw a couple of teams that if everything falls in place they might have the players to do it - Florida, Flames & even Dallas.
I truly think that if everything falls into place anyone of the above can win. If it doesn't all fall into place & youre banking on some lesser known players to win you the games or at least help ease the pressure & good goaltending will be compulsory - Ducks (defence could steal a round or 2), King's (Quick is Quick & who knows how their team will go), Pens, Caps, Jets, Preds (I still think Pekka could steal a round that's not named the SCF), Tampa, Bruins & maybe the Leaves.
Then break it down to who will be the waterboy & actually do it? Preds Pens SCF. Pens to win their 4th in 3 years!!
