I have personally enjoyed watching the first 3 games of the season. I don't remember any game last season which was more entertaining than any of these first 3. D is an obvious work in progress but it sure is nice to watch the kids score and have fun. |

I am not disappointed with this start to the season at all. This team has showed push in every game. I am seeing a lot of good things. Though the glaring mistakes are still happening there is definitely culture shift. I like what I see.
Also Pouliot and Hutton are a dumpster fire. |

seeing some speculation/rumour online that teams have called Nylanders agent and asked what type of money he is looking for. Teams can obviously offersheet nylander at anytime, but leafs can obviously match due to him being an RFA. I imagine his demand is north of 7 mill a year. |

I think he is worth 7 million or slightly north of that. I don't think he is worth an offer sheet and the loss of numerous draft picks though. |

Could you imagine the Canucks giving up multiple picks/prospects for a player they literally could have had for free? |

In what context?
I'd build from Tanev out before I would Edler.
Maybe Edler circa 2009.

lol no doubt. Also even if we traded for Nylander that would leave a gaping hole in our D (not that it matters at this point) plus we would overpaying him as is Benning's persona.
If we could bump Tanev and Hutton out for Nylander and pay him 6.5-7 I'm all for it.
But in a perfect world... |

He is the best rotten apple of the bunch.
He is a good shut down guy but sucks when going the other way. He is like Jethro Bodine on skates. |

He munches minutes and has a great drop pass. Nobody gets his shots blocked better. |
