Sabres take care of business in Columbus tonight 2 - 1. A tight checking game with solid goal-tending on both sides. EROD and Dahlin are both due so they pot the goals.

It took 18 innings for the Dodgers to throw everything they had at us. I like our chances to win the WS. Concerns about Eovaldi and Price but we'll be fine.

Another win for the Amerks last night and Pilut, Olofsson and Nylander keep it going. Fair point about Pilut being a recall due to an injury, makes sense. The Sabres are developing these kids the right way. They want success in Rochester this year. The future looks good.

My guess is probably the late 90's. If memory serves me correctly and it usually does, The Sabres were in the cup finals in '99 and I think the Amerks made the Calder cup finals the same year.
