Ghost is not the greatest defensively, but he is far from bad. Scoring points doesn't automatically mean bad on the defense side. He is very adequate which is why I wouldn't do the deal, he is too important along with Provorov.

Flyers need a proven goal scorer if they are trading Ghost.

How about Eichel(50% salary retained) for Hainsey, we could use a 3rd line Centre while Matthews is out.

Yeah uh nylander doesn't get you ghost. Ghost is a dman and scores at about the same rate as Nylander.
