After LA trading away Muzzin I could see them wanting defence.

Kevin Hayes will be an UFA after this season and would hate to trade without a contract in place. Center is needed more and will take pressure off of Mitts

I thought the trade for Muzzin was a bit of a lopsided trade with Leafs giving up 1st and 2 2nd round Prospects with NHL exp.
