Not even an Avs fan, but I have to say it sucks for them. Have always hated netminders playing the puck outside the crease. They should be treated like any other skater if they’re going to do that. Don’t want to be hit, don’t leave the crease. To me, he may not have been hurt if he treated Bishop like any other skater. Bishop deliberately backed into him and the boards while Landy let up, so as not to hit Bishop and risk a penalty. Not saying Bishop did anything intentionally, I just don’t think he should have been able to roam without being hit. This league has gone too soft. |
