I would normally agree but it's so late in the season. Botts should have pulled the plug much sooner. He's almost as much to blame. They're better off staying status quo. Losing out and getting the best draft pick and get a hockey guy above Botts and a head coach like joe quinville.

This team, with Skinner, Sheary and Dahlin added, is not really any better than the one we iced last season.

according to pham, dahlin told him he never worked on one-timers in Sweden...just how messed up is the coaching on the powerplay?...why would they place him on the right half-wall where being able to blast a one-timer is a useful trait?

I am glad I didn't need to endure the "we don't need Jack Eichel to win" quips on social media. Or any media. And hopefully Housley's going to continue to dig his own coaching grave and return to Buffalo as simply an alumni who was one of our best defensemen of all time, and a guy who tried to coach once. Hey, Wayne Gretzky couldn't coach either.
My prediction is that they fire Housley after the season is done. They interview coach Q amongst others. He pulls a Babcock on us. We end up with either McClelland or Vigneualt which I am OK with. We need an experienced coach.

What we actually need is a coach that can not only communicate his message to his players, but be able to make his players buy into his system and do what he actually tells them to do.
