Larsson and Girgs were by far their top 2 defenders, with no one resembling an internal replacement. It's a glaring need that will need to be filled. That said, I can't see JB walking into arbitration here.

If that's the case, then either -sons or -sson should have some perceived value in a package to get us someone to score more than 2 points a month. Heck, I'd be willing to bet there will be better FA options available at a similar or lower price point.

I think they do have a little value, but their arbitration eligibility kills it. I don't think they are going to qualify either. They do need external replacements. If they extend one, it's probably Larsson.

I think Girgs has to be gone. Has to be. Even if for no other reason than "we're trting, we are doing something else".
