It hasn't been that big of an issue now that there's a penalty assessed for a call that's upheld. Teams that ask for the review have a pretty good level of confidence in the replay they've looked at it.
The rule should be simple. Call on the ice stands unless there's clear and indisputable video evidence to overturn. Colorado's claim was that the player was touching the Blue like and I couldn't really tell from the camera angle we were shown.

Agreed, can't blame the rules for a bad line change. Someone get that door open or hop over the boards. Why have so many personnel on the bench if nobody is assigned to make sure that door gets open and the line change goes smoothly? ffs, don't blame the goal review for that one.

No they dont. We need to get rid of offside review and leave it to the refs. Sick of media over reacting to every little mistake made. Video review for offside and goalie interference hasent been a help at all. Get rid of it and stop over reacting to every little thing. |

as the rule stands now, if a guy gets knocked down and while getting up, his hands are on the ice in he offensive zone and his knees are on the ice in the neutral zone, he is offsides.... this is terrible |

Hockey fans need to quit their incessant whining.
It was offside.
They reviewed, Determined it was offside. The right call was made.
If the goal had been allowed to stand, there would have been just as much incessant whining.
So just STFU and watch the game. I don't care about your fee-fees.
The correct call was made.
