After thinking about how easily so many teams seem to be able to navigate what look like obvious cap issues, I'm now on the side of signing good players and worrying about the cap later, a bit. Duchene makes sense.

I like Duchene to an extent but believe he's overvalued for what he's done so far. His cost would be way too high for Buffalo and for me $9M and up is too much

If we got Cozens or Dach I’d be insanely happy. I don’t see either being there at 9 however.

It’s not aboot $ anymore the trick is term.

Pay the guy enough to buy a small country but for shorter term and sell him on the players and organization...that might not work, but then again it might. However it might not work, still go for it.
