Me neither. Seems to be the second coming of the Kunitz signing. An over the hill veteran on a one-year deal.

I would be interested in Hoffman if Uncle Dale is trying to make room for the Russian Duo but have not seen any steam on that even being discussed

The thoughts of Corey Perry in a hawk uniform makes me ill. Still, if term was short, cost was REAL low....the azzhole might be an ok signing. But, I am not too worried, some idiot GM (hopefully NOT Stan) will ink him to wayyy too much for wayyy too long.

The thing with Perry is he'll likely get a multi-year deal when his age and knee injury dictate a one-year deal.

Good to hear about Turcotte, imo. He's got hawks written all over him. (Crosses fingers) In regards to selecting Adam over Oliver last draft, I remember them saying Adam wasn't going to be on the board by the time they selected & were looking at other players. He was a player that couldn't be passed up on.
