Hains: Looking Ahead: Jonathan Drouin
Two years ago, Jonathan Drouin became a member of the Montreal Canadiens and people hoped he would finally be the number one centre so sought after. He couldn't so now, can he be a reliable top six forward? |

And you did not mention his many turnovers. When you are no scoring like him down the strech, you can't hurt your team like that.
I really question his character at this point. How can we explain what happened in the most important part of the season, but by a lack of effort from him?
The fact that he seemed to blame that on his nose or whatever is not a good sign. |

What character? ... he play for the name on his back and not for the logo in front. |

Could be worse, but could be better. I want to go out, but won't receive my first pay before a while. It is a tragedy. |

If he actually busted his ass for 82 games and got the same amount of points.....no problem. He had the majority of them three quarters of the way through the season and then floated, pouted and sulked. He has no character and is entitled.
He had the chance to be the runaway points leader on this team and didn't embrace it. I'd see how he does this year and if he doesn't perform.....C-YA! |

The problem with Drouin is that he has a sever case of Kovalev-itis.... can be spectacular for a game or two, then show zero effort, continuous bad turnovers, and no defence, otherwise.
I just don't ever see him ever being a reliable top 6 forward for 82 games a year (plus any potential playoff games).
He is not worth the contract unless there is a major shift in his attitude and commitment to playing all parts of the game. |

Yes, JizzDinner is right, we all need to listen to him so that talented players actually want to play in Montreal. Once comments get a more positive vibe on Hockeybuzz, they will come. |

And Moran's being a measure of spatial autocorrelation developed by Patrick Alfred Pierce Moran? I can see how you could think this. |

I think you are more patient than me. perso, he'd already be gone for a LD, but I get they want to give him another chance.
he better take it if he wants to remain a Habs imo. guy has 2 strikes. |
