He's a mid-3rd round talent. Still cant believe the sabres reached for him

Seriously though, I wonder if he could hit 30 goals on the top line. If so it's within the realm of possibility that line gets close to 100 goals with the overpaid figure skater getting close to 40 again

Gaines is a regional scout. Beane will ask him about specific details regarding Clowney, but ultimately has no say.

They've denied the rumor once before, but McCoy for Clowney is a reasonably fair offer. Maybe add a conditional 3rd, Bills give Texans the 3rd if Clowney re-signs.

In what way was he overrated?
This was Sal C's tweet:
"Assuming Andrew Luck stays retired, he finishes his career ranked 2nd all-time in passing yards per game (275.2) behind only Drew Brees (282.0). He's 84th in all-time passing yards and 68th in passing TDs."
This is only playing six seasons including playing only 7 games in his fourth year.
Also, he had the 2nd most passing yards ever in his first six seasons only behind Marino.
When looking at comparable players in their first 6 seasons he is compared to: Montana, Brees, McNabb, Aikman and Cunningham.
Injuries are the only disappointing part of his career.

I think Samson is more likely to play on the 2d line. He has great chemistry in the Top 3 but I think the Top 6 is better splitting Samson away from Jack and Skinny.
