I think this year Comets will have a real AHL lineup. They brought in some toughness and a couple of AHL 60 point men . They seemed to pay attention to the goalie needs and like you mentioned there will be at least 2-3 NHL players on their roster. My guesses are Loui Goldy Gaudette and Scaller.

I think this year Comets will have a real AHL lineup. They brought in some toughness and a couple of AHL 60 point men . They seemed to pay attention to the goalie needs and like you mentioned there will be at least 2-3 NHL players on their roster. My guesses are Loui Goldy Gaudette and Scaller.

I’m all for Loui going to Utica unless he gets his crap in order. Schaller seems inevitable to go down & Gaudette for exemption reasons. Goldy i would think could slide by if sent down but still is unsigned. Wouldn’t surprise me if say the Pens scooped him up.

I don't think Boucher will get a chance. I think he was signed to score for the Comets .
Unless he had incredible season of training and fixed his foot speed I believe he will be a Comet.

I'd like to see Gaudette start in Utica.

And I'm not sure how Sutter would look on the wing or if he would go to 4th line c and Beagle goes to wing?

It would be awesome if LE showed up at camp in great shape, ready and showing a little jump. but expecting a shtshow.

It is a bit much

Now that more time has passed I’m less decided on our top 6 & 9 F’s. They are improved but with Gaudette most likely in Utica due to his waiver exemption I still don’t like Sutter as a black hole for offence but i do like the rest of his game.

That’s my latest feel for lines & hoping Mac has a great camp & we go 14/7 vs 13/8

His versatility helps if Green uses the blender & then Sutter plays wing which is fine by me. Opens up a W spot for others to move up if earned or needed.

I wasn't a big fan of Botch but I will give him the fact that he was entertaining. He knew how to start the fire. When he died he grew into legend proportions in the city and his word previously spoken turned into legend like Kings " I had a dream"

For Goldy to be a fixture on the 1st line that scenario requires many things.

Needs to be consistent & leave the doghouse.
No shifts off & not a liability.
Top conditioning a given.
TG wants to run 3 offensive lines
