Niklas Kronwall was pertty sure he was done playing in the NHL. The Detroit Red Wings defenseman waited until he was certain before announcing his retirement.

So crazy idea. But I think the wings should sign marleau to a 1 year deal. And then trade him at the deadline to a contender.
Not even if it's for anything good. Marleau is super respected and he could teach the younger guys and maybe open the door after retirement to bring him into a behind the scenes role.

So crazy idea. But I think the wings should sign marleau to a 1 year deal. And then trade him at the deadline to a contender.
Not even if it's for anything good. Marleau is super respected and he could teach the younger guys and maybe open the door after retirement to bring him into a behind the scenes role.
