Yeah I was a bit skeptical .... until yesterday... He was dynamite. Now granted the Rangers D isn't the 77 Habs ... Still it was an amazing display.

Agreed ^^^^^ Brisebois is trying to maintain the take less to win a cup mentality with Point, but without Yzermans name to back up the idea it's more difficult. If we can get some good prospects and a few first picks we might have to take them.

A FEW 1st round picks AND prospects? Lol why wouldn't a team just offer sheet and save the prospects. He isn't worth all that. The team has 100% of the leverage. I will be happy if they actually use it and don't pull a voy wonder Dubas move and give him every penny he wants and reset the entire RFA game in the process. Time for the team to win one.

yep, they gave him 10 mil. signed when the cap was lower and he had a less proven resume than Marner.

Marner is great, but there’s a handful of guys that are arguably better

And at least a couple that are unequivocally better.

Mackinnon is without a doubt the more dominant and Better player.
Crosby is certainly better too.
Ovi probably.
Bergeron probably
