Thanks Carol! Never liked horses, a bit too big and dumb for me. Seen a few people get kicked and it’s usually just because they get scared of everything and freak out... which leads me to the posters on this board |

Thanks Carol.
I'm expecting a big night out of EP. He loves playing against the Flames. Fingers crossed that Gaudette does well and keeps the 3C spot. |

Carol,
Awesome to be back to hockey, and awesome to have you as the Canuck’s blogger
I’m looking for a more impactful game tonight from Elias, Michael & Brock. Also looking forward to seeing if Gaudette can win a continuing spot on the roster with another strong performance.
Go ‘Nucks! |

This feels more like the season opener for me now that TG has moved away from Sutter and Beagle centering their own lines. I just hope AG has a bit of a leash and doesn’t get benched if he makes a mistake or has an uneventful first game. |

He hasnt seen game action in 10 days give or take. If they play him and then sit him I'll be pissed. Send him down for big minutes until injury then.

Thanks for the horse stories Carol
I use to ride . Had good experiences and bad. One time the owner did not tie the saddle properly and it slid down to the underside of the belly and got kneed in the head. The horse then panicked and pissed on me as it was running. I kicked myself free of it and steeple chased the fence and ran down the highway. The owner told me in French to go get it . I repliedin English GFY you go get it. Had a concussion
Another horse ran my head into a big tree branch for my second concussion. I don't know who was dumber the horses or me for getting back on them.
Whomever came up with the saying if you fall off a horse get back up and ride them was full of sh1t. You keep away from those faukers. |

Saw a post at HF, some guys said that there's around 18M plus per year that FA is paying to tonight's 4th line + scratches + Ahl vets. Yikes. |

None of them can have one good year, so we can trade them too...
3 years left
Edit: The way Loudini is treated probably makes them all feel comfortable. Not to mention giving an A to Sutter... |

Beagle 3.0
Sutter 4.3
Shaller 1.9
Loui 6.0
Lou 3.0
Sven 2.3
Spooner 1.0
21 mil but the truth is even if they had spent it elsewhere people would still be crying about how the wasted it.
That said we should have a hell of a team in three years |

Big job for JB to rid some of that salary. Todays world of the cap poses him big problems. Results will decide his fate. |

Can't blame him much for Lu, but yeah the rest is all his own doing. |

Are we talking Benning or Aquilini? Aquilini certainly did have his hands in on the Lou contract.
There is a lot of wasted money but more than half the teams have ridiculous amounts of wasted money also.

Guy Rubber Boot rides a horse.
I've been on long horseback trips. We left the Alaska highway and bush whacked into the Prophet River valley, crossed the Besa and continued up the Prophet, then took a trail over the mountains though Richards Creek(wild sheep country), crossed the Besa a second time... up over another mountain range and into the Red Fern Valley and back out to the Alaska hwy. Half way into the trip we shot a moose and packed it out with us. This was maybe my toughest hunting trip ever. In the bush 10 days.. out earlier than expected. 20 horse pack train.
On the way in my horse stepped into a bog hole up to it's chin. It threw me tits over ass and when the horse pulled it's one leg out, kneed me in the chest and up into my chin knocking me out for a moment. The next day my entire chest was a bruise. As far as branches knocking me off my horse... happened a bunch of times over the years. You ride these game trails back to camp in the dark without a headlamp and it's inevitable. The horse get hungry by the end of the day and want their oats back in camp... you cant slow them down. It's pretty dangerous being 70km from the nearest hwy dealing with block headed pack horses and a brain dead father. |

That depends how. If you don't use common sense it's your fault but a horse isnt a machine. They react to things out of your control. I watched a horse that got stung destroy a large portion of camp bucking out of control dragging someone around stuck in the stirrup. The guy trying to get control of it got kicked really hard. He already only had one eye from a horse incident when he was younger. Even smart cowboys eventually get kicked and bitten and everything else in between if you spend your life around pack horses...
My grandfather punched his prized stud which was a standard bred between the eyes and killed it when it took a chunk out of him. The horse was named after him. Ed. It bit everyone but only him once. |

If Gudette works out and Jake or Leivo can play to potential then when Roussel comes back the third line will not be as horrible as game one.
I agree that Canucks do have a lot of wasted money and need to clean it up . This is why I think signing Stecher to a new deal of 3 or 4 mil to play bottom pairing does not make sense. #tradebait. |
