Great write up ben!
So far I'm happy with beau and Nelson. Dal colle is using his body a little more but I would like to see him and brassard do a little more
Boychuk looked gassed at times, maybe he sits for dobson on tuesday? |

Thank you!
And I truly hope so. Sitting Dobson to start the year is a terrible plan IMO and I get they may not want to send him back to junior but his time is better spent anywhere other than the press box. I would expect he's getting into his first game very soon. |

I believe Dobson is sitting because he's not 100% or at least that is what I've read. I don't think he's sitting b/c they don't trust him. He'll get in soon enough. |

Hahah I have fond memories of crosby walking dehaan in his first nhl game to score the winner
Dobson has to play eventually and at home you get final change.
I dont think hes hurt but I think Trotz might want him to get some practices in and get used to the system
Remember lehner didnt start until like game 3 last year |

I think Trotz wants a few wins under his belt primarily and trusts his vets like boychuck whether he’s slow or not. I would think he also doesn’t want the kid to get torched rt away. |

Honestly I will give the decision on when Dobson is ready to tackle his first NHL game up to Lou and Trotz. Last year Toews was sent down and there was the same reaction by most and it worked out really well once Toews did get the call. If Dobson was able to go to BP this year that’s where he would be right now just like Toews last year. The fact that his only place to go was back to Jrs that would not have done anything as far as his development as Lou and Trotz have said. So he will stay here practice with the Team learn the system and get used to the speed, physicality and forecheck of the NHL. When he’s ready it will be up to him not Lou and Trotz. He will show them when he’s ready. With our blue line there’s no reason to rush the kid. Getting ripped and jocked can kill a kids confidence and hinder ones development. |

I would have to read it to form an opinion.😂
Agree with it for the most part but like I said I think there’s more to it all going back to the same thing. It’s up to Trotz. If he sat on the bench for the next ten games I would wonder what was going on like everyone else. |

This game would make sense for Dobson to start instead of Boychuk. Dobson can skate a lot better and although you might hesitate b/c it's McDavid you can also argue ... Let's see how the kid does against McD and Drai. ...It's certainly not a Boychuk type of game. |

Young teams usually are.
That top line gets shut down, there are going to be some issues. Plus the D doesn't look all that great. Going to be an up and down season. I just want them to play hard, start coming together as a team and I will be happy. |

Sorry I meant Management. The players might be aggressive as well. I've not seen the Rangers play yet. |

If we traded a guy that we got in JT Miller deal for a 4th round pick .. I am sure everyone on this board would be applauding our Managements aggressiveness. |

I am sure this was Nemistikov not liking he was on 3rd (and 4th) line in a contract year and asked to be moved. Of course if it was the Isles evyeryone would be saying they he wanted out of this dump..etc. |

Not ever move you make will work out fine. You keep trying to improve and that is what the Rangers do. Lot of big FA moves have not worked out for the Rangers and they were still not scared off signing Panarin. |
