Mantha has really silenced the nay-sayers these days. He’s really turned it around over the calendar year and wouldn’t be surprised if he has 35-40 goals this season if things keep going right. He drives play and can score like nobody’s business. Love the guy. And congrats on the job.

I sure hope so. This season is hard for me to decide what I want more: progress in the standings or a much better pick in a seriously deep draft. I think I’d lean for competitively losing 5-6 in games and picking in the top three.

Congrats on being the new Red Wings blogger. But I'll be honest. I'm even happier that Duff is FINALLY gone. Long long overdue. ☺

Ive actually been happy with our picks in the past couple years. Yzerman shocked me with Seider, but he personally scouted the kid. He loves the game and understands what the team needs. Doesn’t care at all about mock drafts, apparently.
