Between the Spurgeon and Zuccarello signing, i guess they missed the memo on don't sign older guys long-term. In terms of cap management, they are worse off than LA and Vancouver - which is difficult to do.

Between the Spurgeon and Zuccarello signing, i guess they missed the memo on don't sign older guys long-term. In terms of cap management, they are worse off than LA and Vancouver - which is difficult to do.

They have no direction. Maybe Guerin will change that.
They got older guys who aren't good enough to carry them anymore (Parise, Suter, Staal, Koivu) without any good young players to replace them.
They should try and move some veteran players instead of signing more of them. |

Agree, but what is really trouble, is their star players are all over 30, Rask is no star and they gave up alot to get a guy that hasn't produced and is now 26. Talking about firing Boudreau is ridiculous. |
