Nice to see Mitts on the board. Hutton played great last night. 47 Stop shutout is no small task. |

To me it just looked like they didn't have any legs left after the first period. Back to back physical games on the west coast, and third game in four nights.
Just keep riding Hutton. |

I don't see them at a point where they are willing to deal their only 1st. They are still building up the system. They will also really need those ELC's. - Lunaion
I was trying to come up with a trade that doesn't involve the most obvious candidates on defense: McCabe or Ristolainen. |

say they wanted borgen, scandella and a first for zucker
we are taking 4 mil off our cap, adding 5.5 mil
we can't do that, it needs to be dollar for dollar or take back less salary
tage will be taking sobotka's spot on the second line, just wait a few weeks |

I've been liking his game...great to have Johansson holding down the no. 2 center spot while mitts gets more acclimated...
and loses all that extra weight he's carrying

Realistically, they would want either McCabe or Ristolainen as the starting point. |

Mittlestadt made a really strong move to the net in the 3rd period of the Ducks game. Looked a little Eichel-esque. In a game that didn't have a lot of positives, it really jumped out at me. |

they already have suter, dumba, spurgeon and brodin
their problem is lack of scoring
marcus foligno has the most points up front |

Mitts line was the best story of the night. Really nice to see them clicking. I'm sure Sheary back didn't hurt. Erod is not NHL material. I really wanted Vesey to pop one. He looked good last night and got a couple of good shots off. |

I haven't been that blown away by Jeff Skinner yet this year. Some games I hardly if ever notice him. He doesn't help maintain the forecheck or cycle down low, he isn't a playmaker, is no stud defensively, Goallafson has stolen his jam on the PP. I like having as many talented players on the team as possible but I have a feeling this 9 mil is going to kick us in the butt well before 8 years. |

Well Garth has us in on Hoffman, what would he cost, I would have to say a lot more than Zucker |

I mean to approach the wild with risto, an overpayment, or mccabe for zucker would be like Botts moving Casey or Olofsson for a RD right now |

4 goals, 2 assists in 8 games. He's been more than fine. |

Hoffman is a rental
a second rd pick and prospect would get him if we had no cap issues |

Ok, I knew this would stir the pot with some but working is nice, producing is another. |

Imagine Goalfson playing on that second line instead of Skinner... That line would be terrible. Him and MoJo are doing good work together and they are dragging Sobodka along for the ride. |

1st period -
Sobotka has the puck just outside our blue line: Skinner is alone between the blue line and center ice. Sobotka doesn't even try to make the pass. There are going to be games that line is invisible because we have 2/3rds of a line |

His production was inevitably going to drop when moved off of Eichel's line. It would be nice if he had some talent on his other wing. |
