What happened to are defense, getting manhandled again.

Buffalo's top line was held in check and their powerplay took a dive during this stretch. Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart lead a list of seven players with one goal each in those five games with all seven of them combining for a minus-17 rating.

We have 4 top 6 forwards. Only had 3 last year, so it's a little better. There's no quick fix here, unless you actually flip Risto for 1.

True, if you think significant future assets are in play. That's not JB's game though. They still don't have enough talent in the system.

I think our 1st rounder this year should be as untouchable as Eichel or Dahlin.

It's pretty bad. No one seems to step it up on the road for us but we need him to stop being so cute with the puck especially, but the whole team lacks a killer instinct
