Don’t read too much into Kane starting on the third line. He’ll be on Toews wing for most offensive zone draws and play the entirety of any power plays. He leads the forwards in ice time every game.

I think the Canucks plan is to break in one rookie per year. Next year it should be between Lind and hoglander. I suspect they want madden to play center in Utica for a year

I can't believe how good Patrick Kane is and has been for so long, I've always maintained Modano was the greatest American player ever to play but Kane is certainly in that mix and when his career is all said and done he'll probably have passed him.

I've discounted small young guys before being able to translate that into the NHL, not anymore, that kids got wheels to match his skill level which tips the scales for me.
