Thanx Bill Looking good going into the break. I know it is early but in your opinion will the Flyers make the playoffs this year in the toughest division with how the first half has gone? If yes who do they beat out? |

They did such a good job all night of defending the rush, especially forwards picking up all the trailing Pens. That's been one of the team's Achilles heels all year, and it looks like they're finally making some headway on that.

Best team D game all season! Never seen pens so sterile and bleak. |

Missed the game. Was driving from Poconos to Ontario. Kept track on the drive. Finally bed time. I'll watch the stream tomorrow. Good game. Love beating the Pens. |

We'll see. They have 60 points at the All-Star break yet not in playoffs if postseason started today. Lots of head-to-head games left after the break.

First full game I got to watch in a while and they were quite impressive. Keep it up and they'll make the playoffs. |

here comes that pointless push to prevent them from trading away deadweight at the TDL |

Really strong team game last night. The Flyers were extremely strong and competitive on the puck last night. Not many breakdowns defensively. I thought everyone played well but I was really impressed with how Farabee played last night. Elliott mentioned the Flyers F3 play last night. Farabee is really good for a player his age when he is in the F3 spot. He also made some good plays with the puck. |

Yup. That was as good a defensive game as I've seen them play in a long time.
It's crazy they are basically the best home team in the NHL and they do not currently occupy a playoff spot.

Farabee had a good game last night. I like his overall game. He has good vision and is responsible defensively. Hopefully he can stand up physically to the rest of NHL season.
I didn't think the Pens looked all that interested in competing last night. |

Put Nisky on the top PP unit
Move G to his usual side
Put Coots instead of TK as part of the double net presence |

The schedule is a mixed bag the rest of the way
Only leave the eastern time zone once which is nice, but the most B2Bs of any team. At least elliott has proven he can be a reliable backup which will help in that regard |

Anyone else noticed that Millbury sighed when it became evident the flyers would win? |

yeah, better get Provorov off the PP, all he's doing there is leading the league in PP goals for defensemen |

Great game last night. Really fun to watch. It's amazing what they can do when they all work together. Hope they can come out of the all star break strong. |

Very rewarding. Limiting Pens to just 19 shots is alone a feat by itself, but limiting desperate Pens team with Crosby and Malikin out every other shift to 0 shots in the last 10 minutes is beyond awesome. |

Good for him, but the PP itself is struggling and a lot can be attributed to his still in progress ability to keep pucks in the zone on clears, make the right decisions on the entry rush, and make clean passes to Giroux and Jake
Sure, he is not the only problem but I dont think hes ready yet to run the top unit and until Ghost gets back and is confident again I think they should go with Nisky because he has experience being successful running a PP |

I don't recall Elliott having to make any tough saves. |

Just curious, what's the F3 spot? |
