Carol Schram: Tyler Toffoli makes his Canucks debut as Canucks seek 2 points vs. the Wild
The Vancouver Canucks' top six got a major upgrade when Jim Benning acquired trade-deadline rental Tyler Toffoli from the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night. We'll see if he can help the team in its push for a playoff spot when the Canucks take on the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday night at Rogers Arena.

Thanks Carol,
I expect Benning makes another move, I hope it's not Simmonds but as we've seen before Jimbo usually gets his man for better or worse.
I would rather see them target another Defensman.
What would the cost be to add Gustafsson ? - belcherbd
With the D core healthy (for now) can't really see it. JB knows the toughness issue needs to be addressed if they wanna run at the PO's. Simmonds makes sense if he comes cheap.
It makes sense. If you're buying a scoring winger to replace Boeser, you have to try to keep the momentum going on the first line. It wouldn't make sense to play JV in that spot all year and expect him to play like a 1st liner down the stretch.

Oh I hear ya I'm just trying to stir sh!t up.
They won't change the formula just yet. Eriksson has found some success with Bo and Pearson. Most would benefit by playing with Petey-Miller I mean hell even JV looked like a player on that line lol.
