We are what we are unless someone offers a massive overpay. That's ok by me. The goal is to win the cup, not be 3rd place or a wildcard in the playoffs every year. We need a big time offensive player, hopefully he's in the mid to late teens in the draft where we will be picking, and in the FA market. |

There are some people that we need to move-on from . . . Murray, Wennberg, and Milano. Unfortunately 2 of 3 are injured, and we did move Milano.
I'm glad Milano was traded, aware of his weaknesses I feel he's been dealt a bad hand here, not getting a fair shake.
And I preferred that we get a draft pick, not a player who's probably a drop-off in skill and offense.
I was hoping with the run on D men, and the return they were bringing, Jarmo would jump in the fray with our "depth" (Nutivarra, Savard, Harrington?) and replenish the draft cupboard. Maybe no one came calling !!!
Sometimes I wonder if we fall in love with our players - valueing them higher than everyone else. And they're not as good as we think. |

I get the move, Shore is a Torts type player, 6'2, 206 pounds can play at center he will probably fit on the third line and move Jenner up to second. Also he's RAF, so yeah this is a typical hockey trade, sacrificed pure skill for size.

We don't need another friggin' bottom-6 player. Between Columbus & Cleveland, we have enough for 3 lines in each city. Let's work on getting top-6 players who can:
1) hit the net with consistency; 2) play 3-on-3 hockey; 3) put the puck in the net in a shoot-out.
Sure hopin' Jarmo does something at the draft or summer. |
