He was a beast when he played for the Kelowna Rockets in the dub. He just took so long to develope into the player he is.

Johnny has looked much better as well. He will finish with the most points on the team again. Chucky is good, but Johnny is pure points.

Don't we want Oilers to win today? Nashville is right behind the Flames and have games in hand.

I guess either way but if the oilers happen to loose both games we are then even in games and now only one point ahead for us to slide into second...we just need the Flames to start playing their “A road game” at the dome and then we’ll be fine either way...😉

Somehow I have a feeling the last game of the season against the Oilers is settle 2nd in the Pacific. But hell the Knights lost last night and Calgary is 5 back with the same amount of games played and Calgary plays Vegas two more times at home so first is possible still. The Flames just need to go on a tear. Hell last year at this time they were just playing meaningless games since the Division was wrapped up.

Unrelated...... What's the deal with Kelly Hrudy? Is he no longer the color commentator? Are we stuck with Caley? Nothing worse than watching the game and being nagged from the color person while watching.

they have played a couple really good games. But need to find another gear to compete with teams like vegas.

Has anyone heard if they are ramping Valimaki up any time soon? Last I heard he started skating at the end of January. If he's 100% he could be a huge boost to the playoff/stretch run roster!

I believe it was Burke that I heard he wont be ready to play a hockey game until end of March & chances are that would be a conditioning stint in Stockton if we are still playing in the AHL playoffs.

I think with the 2 new additions that we will not see Vali. If he plays this year he has to be protected in the expansion draft. I can see them waiting with him.

Little off topic, but why was Gustaffson so cheap? Like he puts up a lot points and we got him for 3rd? Like he's basically another Brodie... why so cheap? Something I am missing??
