I’d like to hear how the coyotes take the next step and become a legit playoff team. To me they are screwed. Two years in a row of great goaltending and nothing to show for it, Taylor hall most likely gone, Kessel was quite the dissapointment, Keller the book is still out but nothing to be happy with. Their lineup is not anything to get excited about and unless the kid from the Soo that won world juniors is a superstar I don’t see how they are nothing but a below the line playoff bubble team.

James Troller would have to possess some actual hockey knowledge to answer your questions. But he obviously doesn't. I'm guessing he watches the Coyotes game hilites each morning but doesn't watch any actual games. I hope that's the case. Demers and Goligoski were once lauded as great contacts. Now they aren't. Dvorak was lauded as a great contract, and example of betting on your own players. Now he's a bad contract and the sole reason why Taylor Hall didn't produce more. So it seems like your views constantly change, which is OK, but maybe explain why? When did Dvorak change from being an awesome contract to a guy you'd like to replace with some random AHL'er. I dunno, just a suggestion for future topics.

Maybe Chayka will read it and start to use your analytical ideas. Or Tocchet will read it and start to use bottom 6 AHL guys on the powerplay so his more talented players can be saved for 5-on-5. That was another idea that you said ALL coaches should start following. So if you are down a goal in the 3rd period, don't put Ovechkin on the powerplay. Go with Lars Eller. Save Ovechkin so he's rested for the next 5-on-5 shift.

Re-sign Hall, build around Hall, Kuemper, OEL, Chychrun, Keller, Hayton, Schmaltz , Kessel (really unlucky year, he's in decline but he's better than you think) Garland and the swedish defenseman they drafted last year.

Clear out all that dead cap space - Dvorak, Soderberg, Demers, Goligoski etc -

Use draft pick to acquire another elite player.

Hope to hell Kuemper is the legit superstar he appears to be.
